Dolphin Watching

Mnemba Island, on Zanzibar’s northeast coast, is home to many bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins. Embark on this boat trip and get the opportunity to see these sleek and grey creatures jack-knife through the water, sometimes showing off with jumps and twists. Be aware however that we don’t promote swimming with dolphins, since we do our best to avoid disturbing the animals. Also, the chances of spotting dolphins are quite high, but there are no guarantees that you will actually see them. Their presence strongly depends on the weather and some days they prefer to swim deeper in the ocean (especially when it’s raining or when it’s too sunny). Nevertheless, your captain will do his utmost best to find them and, in any case, this boat ride is still one of the most beautiful and enjoyable activities you can add to your trip. Snorkeling is also possible.
