  • This safari option presents to you a chance to visit Kenya's best wildlife parks and the coastal side of the country. You will visit the famous Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo west National Parks and finish with 3 days at the coast relaxing.

Itinerary

Pick up from the Airport or at your City Hotel in Nairobi and proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving for lunch. After Lunch depart for an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the hundreds of wildlife species the game reserve is famous for. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard, impalas, Masai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Thompson & grant’s gazelles, topis, the resident wildebeests among many others. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

Enjoy breakfast then a full day of game viewing drive in search of the Big-Five among many other wildlife species. In addition to wildlife, the Mara has nice, varied scenery to enjoy. Optional Activities: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains or visit a traditional Masai Village (at an extra cost). The vast plains and grasslands are also home to hundreds of bird species. Enjoy meals and overnight Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

Enjoy breakfast then drive to the Lake Nakuru National Park through the Great Rift Valley. You will be arriving at the lodge for lunch. Depart on an afternoon game viewing drive. The scenic 188km2 Lake Nakuru game park is home to the black and white rhino, prides lions, cape buffalos, waterbucks, reticulated giraffes, hartebeests among many others. When the water levels in the lake are low, the 68km2 alkaline lake is famous for the thousands of greater and lesser flamingoes. Enjoy overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

Early this morning, enjoy breakfast then depart with packed Lunches via Nairobi to the Amboseli National Park. Have an afternoon Game Viewing drive within Amboseli National Park. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Masai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. Enjoy meals and overnight at the lodge. Amboseli Serena lodge. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, an Optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area In the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Left unharassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any Safari. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

Enjoy breakfast then depart to Tsavo West national Park, arriving at the lodge for lunch. This afternoon we depart on a game viewing drive. The major attractions here include the Sheitani and chaimu Lava flows – an 8 km long, 1.6 km wide and 5 meters deep black magma, a result of a fierce volcanic eruption over 250 years ago. Mzima springs is a must visit – a refreshing moment for every guest. This spring receives over 250 litres of water daily – flowing from Mount Kilimanjaro. From the specially designed bunker, you will be able to see water-life in the spring – fish, the giant common hippo among others. We later return back to our lodge for dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena lodge. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

After Breakfast depart with Packed Lunches for a morning Game Viewing Drive in the Tsavo West National Park, later you will drive to Mombasa Beach, arriving in the evening at Serena Beach Resort. The Journey takes about 4 hours’ Drive. Dinner and overnight at Serena Beach Resort. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.  

Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel and relax at the beach or you have an option of having a Tour of Fort Jesus Historical Museum (at an extra cost) or a Tour of Mombasa Town. Fort Jesus Museum is the ideal world heritage treasure to visit. It’s a magnificent and ancient landmark of Mombasa City that plays a vital role in showcasing the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. Fort Jesus Mombasa is one of the most visited sites in Mombasa. Dinner and overnight. Drinking water is provided in the rooms.

Breakfast at the Hotel and enjoy the day at the beach, here one enjoys the white sandy beach shaded by coconut palm trees, the cool ocean breeze. In hot weather, the swimming pool is available to cool off. The Facility has a number of many services a guest can choose from such as: Tennis court, Darts, Squash, Snorkeling, Water sport facilities (on site) and boat riding.
