After breakfast, we will depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley's most famous Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. After breakfast drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Wake up early for breakfast and head to the reserve searching and following the movements of the wildebeest migration which can be unpredictable. You will use this full day to increase your chances of witnessing the famous river crossing and following the large columns of the migration herds.

They are pastoralists and cattle is essential to their way of life. A man’s success is measured by the number of cattle and offspring he has. As great a status and show of wealth the cattle are, they are also a vital food source. This glimpse of authentic Maasai culture is a fascinating experience of an ancient way of life that still flourishes today. You will wake up to the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush this morning for a final game drive in the Mara. Later you will drive back to Nairobi, have lunch and later you will be dropped at Airport.
